Leith Festival Gala Day is a much-loved highlight of the annual Leith Festival, bringing the community together on Leith Links for a vibrant celebration of summer, local culture, and creativity. Rooted in tradition since 1907 when the Gala and Pageant were first held to raise funds for Leith Hospital, the event has grown into a free, family-friendly day packed with live music, performances, fun activities, and plenty of stalls showcasing local makers, businesses, charities, and community organisations.
