DESCRIPTION:Our first exhibition at An Ordinary Place is an informal ‘salon’ event featuring work by photographers based in Leith\, the Lothians\, Fife\, and one or two from further afield. There is no specific theme\, so the range of images is extensive: just pop in to see what happens when photography floats ashore in Leith. Entrance to the gallery is free\, and if a print takes your fancy\, you may well be able to  buy it! SUMMARY:Art in Nature Walk
DESCRIPTION:This in-person event is the perfect opportunity to unwind\, connect with nature\, and unleash your inner artist. Don’t miss out on this unique experience! \nJoin me for a relaxing and creative Art in Nature Walk. Beginning at Leith Community Croft\, we will walk around the Restalrig Railway. Along the way you are invited to immerse yourself in the beauty of nature as we explore this local greenspace with fresh eyes. \nWhile walking we will collect photos of anything that you think will inspire you\, and interesting natural objects\, which you can then use to create your own masterpiece. \nThe walk itself will be at an easy pace\, and will take around 45 minutes. The surface is paved\, apart from in the community croft itself\, which is hard packed dirt/gravel and grass. There are no steps\, but there are a couple of short slopes. You can view the route and the elevation here: https://www.mapmywalk.com/routes/view/6182199976/ \nArt materials will be provided\, but feel free to bring your own nature friendly art supplies if you prefer. \nPlease dress appropriately for the weather on the day as this is an outdoor event. \nThe Croft cafe should be open\, but you are also welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks\, or even picnic lunch for before/after the event (there are picnic tables in the croft). \nThis event is suitable for all ages\, however under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult. \n  \nPay what you can/donation ticket.
