Emotes will take over the Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop gallery spaces, showcasing the installations, ceramics, performances and prints made as part of the unique Schools Programme. Now in its seventh year, this initiative has brought 150 P5s and P6/7s from Trinity and Victoria Primary Schools to make artwork at ESW for one hour a week throughout the school year. Based on experimental and avant-garde educational practices, each workshop is devised by some of the most exciting established and emerging Scotland-based artists, including Charlotte Barker, Adam Benmakhlouf, Nick Evans, Adam Gandy, Ashanti Harris, Kate Owens, Ciara Philips, Maeve Redmond and Aniela Piasecka.
