The SS Explorer, moored at Leith's Edinburgh Dock, is Scotland's first custom-built fisheries research vessel. Twice saved from demolition, she is currently being restored by the Explorer Preservation Society. Open Day starting at the Main Reception in the West Stand of Easter Road Stadium (home of Hibernian Football Club) which will include open gallery displays and self-guided tours of the West Stand. The tour includes the dressing rooms, Directors suite and box, and pitchside. Visitors will also be able to access the South Stand (where the Hibernian Community Foundation have facilities), East Stand concourse and Memorial Wall and the Famous Five Stand including the Football Club shop.
