This unique event draws crowds, with massed drums, dancers and the haunting lament of the Lone Piper set against the magnificent backdrop of Malmaison Plaza at The Shore.

The festival’s traditional last event, bringing together the best of music and dance from Leith’s cosmopolitan community make sure to arrive early for a good spot.

This year our event will be hosted by the wonderful Susan Morrison; a writer, comedian, and broadcaster. She is the presenter of BBC Radio Scotland’s history magazine programme ‘Time Travels’, and is also the chair of ‘Previously….Scotland’s History Festival’.
